Ah! Las Vegas birthday trip. Arrived Southwest Airlines early Sunday the 4th. Was checked in before noon and comped 5 nights in Go room. First room had air con problems but management wasted no time moving us down the hall into another Go room on the same 24th floor overlooking Ceasars Palace. Beutiful strip veiw. All hotel and casino employees were top's and very nice. Played six different poker tournaments between Harahs and Flamingo. Lots of fun!! Did very well on three card poker as well. Video poker at the Flamingo was very good to me this trip. Saw hitsvile show at PH. Good show! Don't bother with VIP seating. It's no better than general and in many way's not as good but all in all was a good show. My wife and I enjoyed stroling the strip and going in and out of all the resorts and casino's and malls. We did a Red Rock canyon tour this trip which we enjoyed very much and recomend highly, or just rent a car and go on your own. We also went on a Grand Canyon tour which was nice except that twelve of the fourteen hour trip was spent on a bus!
Anyway we still enjoyed after only seeing from the air all these years. Also it was not very crowded in November. Grand canyon is a destination in itself! Of course as you all know, many changes in and around the IP and Flamingo with the linq. No problems getting around or with any construction noise and we are excited to see the end results in a year or so. No fine dining this trip, just an ocasional buffet and 24 hour cafe dining. Did not make it downtown this trip. Wanted to see the changes there but will wait for next year. I would just like to remind people to please tip anyone that does anything for you, especially the housekeeping staff. These employees are probably the hardest working employees in a resort and deserve a daily tip for making us comfortable. Set aside some of that money you will loose on the slots and make someones day!

Until next time, have a blast in Las Vegas! If you don't it's your own falt!
